Advantages of Volunteering
There are many benefits to volunteering. We asked some of our volunteers and some highlighted the sense of achievement and purpose they felt, while others said they felt more connected to their local community. All agreed that they enjoyed the feeling of satisfaction from sharing skills and learning new ones, as well as the opportunities to meet new people and engage in new activities. All of these benefits contribute to an improvement in skills, confidence, and self esteem for all involved.

Activities and Programs
Developing and providing new activities or programs for the benefit of others is very rewarding.
Administration Assistance
Work in the front office, welcoming people, collecting fees, recording information and doing small projects.
Events
Help with organising events such as our annual Art Exhibition is lots of fun and very rewarding.
Maintenance
Maintain the garden area or work in our community garden, guiding and assisting others.
Social Media
Do you love social media? Help with getting our message and events out there to the wider community.

Every Month we all come along to have a good time, create delicious food and connect with many members of our community. It’s such fun we can’t wait to come back every month. Community lunches are on the second Tuesay of every month and everyone is welcome to come at eat what we have cooked.
