About Rye Coffee Connection

Rye Community House is dedicated to providing training opportunities for people who wish to rejoin/rejoin the workforce, or volunteer but lack the confidence. Our mission is to create a welcoming space where individuals can learn the craft of coffee making, gain valuable skills, and build confidence. We believe in the power of community and conversation, and our coffee house serves as a hub for people to connect, share stories, and support one another.

We have trained over 50 people to date (Aug 2024) and run regular courses though the year.  We will offer one on one barista extension to people who have finished the course.

Advance Community College delivers accredited and pre-accredited training in Hospitality Essentials, including introduction to barista, on site at the Community House. Our experienced trainers are passionate about coffee and committed to helping each participant succeed. Beyond training, we host regular events that encourage social interaction and community building.

Whether you’re here to learn, teach, or simply enjoy a cup of coffee, Coffee Connection is a place where everyone is welcome.
