About Coffee Connection

Rye Community House is dedicated to providing training opportunities for disadvantaged workers. Our mission is to create a welcoming space where individuals can learn the craft of coffee making, gain valuable skills, and build confidence. We believe in the power of community and conversation, and our coffee house serves as a hub for people to connect, share stories, and support one another.

We will be hosting 4 Hospitality Essentials courses this year, training a further 24 people.  We will offer one on one barista extension to people who have finished the course.

Advance Community College delivers accredited and pre-accredited training in Hospitality Essentials, including introduction to barista, on site at the Community House. Our experienced trainers are passionate about coffee and committed to helping each participant succeed. Beyond training, we host regular events that encourage social interaction and community building.

Whether you’re here to learn, teach, or simply enjoy a cup of coffee, Coffee Connection is a place where everyone is welcome.
